Bicycle Technician

Orro Bikes, a brand at the forefront of British bike design producing Carbon, Aluminium, Titanium and Steel Road and Gravel bikes, have an opening for a talented, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bicycle Assembly Technician to join our expanding production department!

Our bicycles are hand-built in our busy Sussex workshop, and you will play a pivotal role in meeting increasing customer demand and supporting the Company in achieving its productions goals in an efficient and timely manner.

A working knowledge of Road and Gravel bikes is important as the primary responsibility will be assembling performance bicycles to a high standard.

Technical requirements desired are:

  • A good level of cycle maintenance skills
  • Relevant qualifications and experience (although training can be offered to the right candidate)
  • Good technical knowledge of Shimano Di2, Sram eTap AXS and Campagnolo products is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Sales & Customer Support

The Martlet Group Ltd with its divisions i-ride.co.uk and orrobikes.com, has an opening for a Sales Support & Customer Service Assistant!

i-ride.co.uk are a distributor of international bicycle and bicycle accessories brands such as Continental, De Rosa, Defeet, Vredestein, Orro and more.

Orro is a brand at the forefront of British bike design producing Carbon, Aluminium, Titanium and Steel Road and Gravel bikes.

We are looking for a professional with a customer focused attitude who can provide excellent service to our customers and help facilitate a smooth end-to-end ordering to fulfilment process.

The role will entail the following but not be limited to:

  • Answering phone calls from B2B and B2C customers and dealing with enquiries, issues, or routing call to correct department.
  • Answering emails
  • Processing sales orders onto Sage 200 ERP system, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Taking payments over the phone
  • Issuing proformas to customers
  • Identifying and following up on sales opportunities
  • Raising credit note/refund requests.
  • Managing existing excel reports and creating new reports as required.
  • Working with other internal departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
  • Carrying out housekeeping on the ERP system ensuring databases are current and accurate.
  • Staying up to date with our products.
  • Developing &maintaining good relationships with our Dealer network

The ideal candidate will:

Salary: From £22,000 per year

Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Warehouse / Workshop Assistant

Our bicycles are hand-built in our busy Sussex workshop, and you will play a pivotal role supporting the Production Team to meet increasing customer demand and achieve productions goals in an efficient and timely manner.

The role is centred in our busy assembly facility in Ditchling where we assemble bikes from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will be picking the bike components from our OEM warehouse ready for our Bike Mechanics to use in production. Once bikes are assembled, they would be returned to you for partial disassembly and packing into one of our custom designed bike boxes ready for the despatch department.
